Traveling and Arriving at our New Home in Bourges, France

We spent most of Wednesday, Sept 9th, traveling to our new destination.  We left Eglisenueve in the morning and took a 1 & 1/2 hour bus ride to Clermont-Ferrand.  In Clermont-Ferrand we had to wait 2 & 1/2 hours for the train so we rolled our suitcases through the city to see what we could find.  We found St Jacques Cathedral and a nice coffee shop!

 Our new host, Catherine Brys, met us at the train station in Bourges and drove us to her hotel.  Her hotel/restaurant is located just north of Bourges in the small community of Fussy.

 We're convinced all French must be chefs.  We had lettuce soup as an appetizer.

Looks like they may be rolling us out of France!

Seems like we will have another wonderful experience here at the Hotel l`Echalier.  Catherine only wants us to work in the morning and take the afternoon for ourselves.  She wants to show us the local sites Saturday; should be a real treat!
