Bourges Museum and Street Tour

We took a day-time tour of Bourges Saturday.  All the museums were free and the public buses cost only 1 euro for the entire day, so we took advantage of it.  There are a lot of photos to view so we decided to break them up into fun "Segments". (move over Bill O'Reilly)

We will start this off with the "Streets and Alleys of Bourges" Segment

The small "Usual-unusual" Segment.
The carvings on European cathedrals are phenomenal!  However, strange!  This carving depicts  people on the left of Christ going to heaven, on the left, hell.  Seriously discusting and wicked!
WARNING, PARENTS!  Zoomed in on the "Hell" portion.

The "Top of Cool Buildings" Segment

The "What's All That Tiny Stuff Below Us" Segment

Oh! There's that nice couple again.

The "Pictures Through Cathedral Windows with St. James' Crosses" Segment

The "Things Cathedral's Need" Segment
Bells, lots of seats, stained glass windows, look out towers, and look outs of course

The "Silly" Segment
Ok, let's start this fun tour off at the top
Sorry Sir, did I interrupt your train of thought?
I'll huff, and I'll puff...do you see the size of these hindges and double-locks???
I can't believe I ate the whole thing!
Hear no evil; not certain who the monkey is?
Man your stations, wait, we aren't on the cruise yet!
"Unusual weather we're havin', ain't it?"
(Who can tell me where this line came from? No cheating.)
Brain-storming session with some old friends
Catherine, Didier with us for some sit down time

The "Lots of Yummy Treats" Segment

The "Stroll Through the Marshlands Gardens" Segment

Fresh Fig!  This was yummy too!

The "City Park and Gardens" Segment

And last but not least, The "Cute and Curious 3-year old French Girl" Segment
She stood up in her seat, which was backed up to Linda, and wanted a kiss.
