On Janurary 27th we arrived at Puerto Chacabuco which is a tiny little port in Northern Patagonia. Although it is a gorgeous area, there isn't much going on except for a small craft market so we got on a local bus for $1.00 and headed to the next "little town" of Puerto Aysen.
Tendering to the port
Our ship anchored in the Aysen Fjord
Small village of Puerto Chacabuco
This is our $1.00 local bus to we took to Aysen. When in Rome....
Puerto Aysen is surrounded by mountains. Small village with wonderful views.
Looking down one of the resident streets in Puerto Aysen
We came back to Puerto Chacabuco and wandered around and found this little cafe. We went inside but decided against ordering.
There were glaciers on top of the mountains behind us.
Back on the ship and enjoying a little pool time.
Cruising out of the Aysen Fjord
Relaxing on the Promanade Deck
