Day at Sea Cruising the Sarmiento Channel in Southern Patagonia

January 25th and 26th were days at sea as we continued north cruising through Chile's Southern Patagonia and viewing many glaciers along the way.  We passed by Amelia glacier, El Brujo glacier and Tempanos glacier in the Messier channel.

Getting closer to the glaciers we started seeing a change in the water color

In the Messier Channel there is a shipwreck site where Captain Leonidas ran his ship up on some rocks in 1963.  It remains there as a lighthouse in the channel.

Our nightly towel animals got more elaborate as our days went by.

Our next port is Puerto Chacabuco - that's just fun to say!
