Projects completed in Minyama

With all we've been able to see and do during our free time, we thought it best to make separate posts for the time spent here at Len & Julia's.  One for work projects completed, and one for our adventures.  Here are a few project pictures:

Six small "under-deck" doors needed to be trimmed off to keep from dragging the ground
Linda cleaning the pool (more than once)
The rest of the pictures are of the main project Len & Julia needed completed.  They purchased a new fridge several months ago, but it was too deep and stuck out into the kitchen taking up a lot of floor space.  The wall behind the fridge is also the wall inside a closet of the adjoining room.  Oh yea!  David's speciality: it's demo time!  Knock a hole in the wall, cut studs, relocate electrical, frame, sheetrock, mud, & sand it; extra kitchen space acquired!

Now to cover up that ugly backside of the fridge and make everything look original.
David designed a simple plywood box to cover the back of the fridge, Lou (neighbor) cut the pattern (no power saws here), David assembled it, Linda painted it, then we installed it.

Gained a whole tile width of kitchen space.

Felt good to be able to complete a job for such a great couple!
