Blue Mountains Grand Canyon and Evan's Lookout Point

We had an amazing day today hiking the Blue Mountains Grand Canyon.  Pictures probably won't do it justice.

Below is a map of what we hiked - 5.65 miles - 3 hours, 42 minutes - 776 ft in elevation

 Just getting started

Plant called Banksias - looks like a corn cob

David behind the waterfall

A tree fell over the canyon and branches started growing up

Lunch break - PB & J

We hear this bird quite often and finally recorded it - David thinks it's an electronic bird
It's actually called a "Whipbird" from it sounding like a whip being cracked.

Narrow path where we had to hold on to the cable

This is looking down on top of the small palm trees

We think this tree was planted from a magic bean.
We thought about climbing it but decided we better not.
