Our Last Week in Tumbi Umbi

We've been in Tumbi Umbi for 3 weeks at what we call the "Mansion House".  We're leaving tomorrow morning and going to work at a small Bed and Breakfast called "The Bower Cottage" located in the Blue Mountains where we will spend one week.

We went to a local hardware store to rent the sanding machine and found a "Hardware Cafe" inside.  We think Lowes may need some pointers.

      We are in awe of all the different birds we hear and see! We keep trying to get a video/sound recording of a Kookaburra. They sound like monkeys. We can't see them though; they stay high up in the trees. Google them though and listen to what they sound like. It's crazy!

    We had snow two weeks ago monday and tuesday. Then again the next monday and tuesday. Then again friday. We are under about 3" of snow now and its melting off already. 37 tomorrow 45 tuesday then rain wednesday and snow again the next day.

    Im ready for spring and have big garden plans. We are gonna be bursting with Veggies this summer!
