Our Last Week in Tumbi Umbi

We've been in Tumbi Umbi for 3 weeks at what we call the "Mansion House".  We're leaving tomorrow morning and going to work at a small Bed and Breakfast called "The Bower Cottage" located in the Blue Mountains where we will spend one week.

A few pictures to show we are working.

David cleaning the pool; not a task, just needed to be done
David had a project to sand and re-stain the deck

Staining

One of Linda's daily tasks - laundry

We went to a local hardware store to rent the sanding machine and found a "Hardware Cafe" inside.  We think Lowes may need some pointers.

Hillsong Main Campus and Bondi Beach to Coogee Coastal Walk

We went back into Sydney again to attend church at the Hillsong Main Campus today.  Ended up being the same pastor who we saw at the City Campus last week and he preached the same message.  I guess we really needed to hear that message!  It was still an awesome service!

After church we took the train to the Sydney harbor again for fish and chips and then took another train to Bondi Beach and walked part of the Bondi to Coogee Coastal Walk.  Gorgeous views!

5 Mile Run and a Bushman Breakfast

We got up on Saturday morning and headed out for a 5 mile run.  We stuck $20 in our pocket just in case we came across a place for coffee.  We headed in the direction of the water and came across a nice running trail.

Running trail right on the water's edge

This was called a Bushman's Breakfast.  So glad we put the $20 in our pocket!  We shared. :)

After breakfast we walked back on the trail and was able to take a few pictures on the way

Terrigal Beach Avoca Beach and The Entrance

We worked a few extra hours this week so we could take Friday off.  Our hosts let us borrow their car so we decided to check out a few of the local beaches.  Our only problem was Cyclone Marcia (category 5 cyclone) came ashore today about 800 miles north of us, so we are receiving some rain from their weather.  We had a good day though and the rain let up so we were able to see a few sites.
